2002 Mazda 626 Questions...

Hey guys.

My GF is looking at a 2002 626 with 41K mi. The car seems like its in good shape and seems to drive fine.
Is there anything in particular I should look for?
Are there any issues that 626's had that should be taken care of?
Any other info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

should be a decent car, nothing too exciting and fairly reliable.

Is it auto or standard? If its an auto make sure it shifts good and if you do buy it take pristine care of it.

Should be fairly good on petrol compared to the bigger v-6. you will notice one hell of a difference in power haha.

Check it ALl over man leave nothing to question. Brakes tires, rocker panels, doors, glass, struts, springs, exhaust, engine oil (smell it for gas or other odd fluidly smells.

A lot of time there are things that are dead giveaways to how well a car has been taken care of. such as does water bead up on it? are the wheels really clean from brake dust. What does the interior look like? Is it freshly cleaned from being a pig sty? or has it always been clean?

Use your head bro, Mazda is a good make so that's half the battle taken care of for you.
