Thanks everyone! I got the bracket on but now the stupid glove box won't latch. I've made sure the thing is in the "unlock" position and even tried swapping latches with my old latch and it won't budge. Maybe I have the striker plate on backwards. I'll check tomorrow because it's dark outside now.

It's done!!! Well, almost. I need the rear speaker deck, rear seatbelts, and 01+ ebrake handle to finish the project but I am relieved to say that the major work is finally complete!

That is an amazing transformation. There's no way I could possibly have more respect for a stock looking interior. That's just so much work, but I feel like the charcoal interior makes the car look not upscale but maybe just like it has a lot more substance. good work.

Was it ever? all my upper pillars are light gray, I figured that was the same across all interior colors.

I was thinking about changing my interior to black, but now that I see how much money you have spent, i'm starting to think twice. I called the dealer and they wanted 450 for the carpet alone!

Thanks all for the comments. Yeah, the shifter does appear to sit "lower" because the 01+ console sits higher. Either way I love it now and am totally satisfied!
