2.3turbo in a 4-door?

would any of you have gotten the 4-door instead of the 5-door if they offered the turbo engine in it? my dad has never had a thing for hatchbacks, and always asks me if they had the speed3 option in the 4-door, cuz he would have rather had that.

personally, i like the hatchback better because i don't have to use the key to open the trunk, i can just use the remote to unlock it. this helps when you forget to hit the trunk release inside the car, get out to get something from the trunk, then realize that you left the keys in the ignition. just stupid little hassle.

but i do think the hatch has more of a blindspot than my old 4-door did

how bout a 2-door!

I would have preferred that they made a coupe 2-door version of the maxdaspeed3, perhaps in the sid eof the R32/GTI, I would dig that! this is my first 4-door car and its pretty big. I personally son't like the body styling of the 4-door you speak of but a coupr in the hatchback would have been very appealing

No. I knew my next car was going to be hatch/wagon since I need the space. The fact that it is turbo is secondary because I considered a regular 3 hatch, as well.

The only reason I haven't traded my msp for a ms3 is cuz I don't like hatchbacks. I'd get a ms6 if I could afford it tho.

I never like hatchbacks until recently when buying my MS3. I probably wouldn't have gotten it if it was the four door. I probably would have gotten the regular 6 instead. (I'd sure be missing the turbo)

iva had a gti in the past and really got used to having a hatch than anything else... but i think i would like it even more if it was a 2 door hatch... but i do have to say the ms3 is definetly one of the few cars that can truley pull off a 4 door hatch

I'm retarded for station wagons. I used to drool over the volvo T5R wagon in yellow with those big silly flat spoked wheels. The hatch is very close to that look...with a little Matrix thrown in.

If the ms3 were a coupe or sedan I wouldn't have bought it. Being a bass guitarist I need lots o' space. Kudos to mazda for making a car that can haul gear as well as haul ass!

I had very little interest in small wagons before the MS3 arrived. I wanted an MS6 when they first came out and spent a lot of time on the MS6 boards reading about them. Somehow I wandered onto the 3 boards and ended up buying an MS3. I am very happy with my purchase and often find myself checking out other small wagons like the Matrix, Impreza, and A3. I guess I fall into the "it grew on me" category as well.

at first i would have said i would have praered 4 door 2 door even better but the hatch has grown on me.

someone shopped the ms3 into a 2-door but someone else noticed it looked like an uglier focus, and it did a little....see if i can find it

I had a 99 civic hatch, then a prelude, and now a MS3. I wanted the best of both previous worlds - and I got it. :D

if it wasnt for the wagon/4dr design. I would not have decided to buy it.

Now.. i realize I could probably handle 2 doors the majority of the time, but with adjusting the seats for my bike /the dog/friends i still would rather have the 4dr
