2.3 block swap question

ok so my 2.3 is shot it can burn at least 1qt oil if not more within 45 miles of driving it has to be the cylinder rings so I want to replace it is there any way I could just use the 2.3 block from a focus and just put my head on it and it still work? or are there going to be major differences? only reason I'm thinking a focus 2.3 block is because I can get one for $80 bucks and from what I'm told they are the same motor any help would be greatly appreciated

yea i didnt think i would but i figured id try to see if anyone knew ill probly just buy a reman motor for it so i dont have to worrie about problems that come with a used motor :/
