I'll have my new tires installed by then, too, so it'll be a good chance to see how they perform. Pirelli P7000 Super Sports, by the way.

Speaking of roads, actually, have you guys been over the pass to Park City from Little Cottonwood? I drove up there on Sunday night, but only went to the summit, not down to Park City. I was curious about the condition of the road and the expected round trip time after you clear the top... I'm up for the drive anytime if you guys feel like taking the route.

Hmmm, I might be confused, but i thought little cottonwood ended at Alta. I know from big cottonwood you can take this dirt road over to park city, but i don't think i'd ever do that in my car. Enlighten me please, cause i don't know what road you're talking about.

I must have the canyons backwards in my head then... the road to Park City from Big Cottonwood turns into a dirt road? Hmmm... that's too bad. I guess I drove as far as you can on pavement then.

Heh, well the last time i drove it it turned into a dirt road, mabe they've paved it since then? We should check it out, and if it turns into a dirt road, we can always turn around and just come back down.

Sounds like a plan... but I'm not driving up that canyon again until I get new tires. The tires I bought last week understeer like crazy. It's like they used duct tape for the sidewalls! Horrible! I was just trying to save a few dollars, but I drove them less than 2 miles before I called the place back and had them order the Pirellis for me.

I'd never heard of them before, but they had a TTT of 320 AA, so I figured I'd take a chance. Yeah, a chance with my life! They're ridiculously unstable. The brand was Nankang or Nanking or something like that. They were the stock size. Utter garbage. Even my wife complained about the difference, and I didn't think she even drove that aggressively.

chris did u get the All season or Summer edition? and the dirt road last maby 2 mil, they it goes back to paved and dropes into park city. its about another 20min to park city if u know where u are going...i drove that road las week in my car and its not that bad...
dude u got to do something about ur rims....
also helped one of my friends put his new brakes and roters on his car...took us 4hrs becouse most of the bolts wherer rusted on...

All seasons. I don't have the space to store winter tires and wheels.

today i saw this P5 going thru trafic trying to catch up to me... so i let him, then the kid inside looks at my car for like 5 sec. and then drops a gear and takes of into the trafic, well i deside to follow and OMG what that fun i was on this kids ass the entire time for like 2 miles going like 85(yeah its unsafe but what can u do), then i pull on the side of him and keep on pulling barely, dont know why but i was pulling on him like 1 car langth in every gear. i think taking out my silencer in my car gave me some top end Hp, bacouse the kids car was all stock.

Did you talk to him at all, or was he just driving like an ass for the hell of it? If you did talk to him is he going to come to the forum, and our meet?
I have a dumb ass story of my own.
I was coming home last night on Highland drive and some stupid truck with TRD all over it stops next to me at a light. I jsut go about my business and sorta pull harder than normal off the line, but not racing or anything. Its highland drive for christ sakes. Well we get stopped at the next light too, and he is behind me still and rolls to the light as it turns green, and he guns it, and i take off just like before, then he cuts me off, and flashes his haards at me like he won a race or something. :wtf: dumb ass is going to kill someone one day.
All taking out your silence will do is allow a straighter path for air to get into the airbox, so its less restricted. Not really a horsepower gain i don't think. BTW i got that shift know, so if you want mine i'll sell it to you for like 10 bucks cheap.
Still looking for that job huh... better look harder.

Seems like call centers are always hiring, if you don't mind that kind of work. I work at the Convergys across from Sandy's Auto Mall, behind Exotic Imports.

Anyways, i got my tires, and rims today, and they are sweet, very very sticky. I like them a lot. Let me know what you think about them

Ummm... there are 1,500 people in my building! I don't think I know a Nicci, though.

My tires still haven't come in yet. Probably sometime this week, I'd guess. I'm not in a rush; I'd just as soon use up the Nancrap tires than my nice Pirellis for awhile anyway. I'm glad you're pleased with them, though. And they finally got to you!
