19x8.5 on mazda speed ? What tire size????

Hey there guys Please HELP. I need a quick tire size answer. For my 03' speed. The wheels are AXIS Milano's 19x8.5 all the way around. Should i go with 215/35/19 or 225/35/19?

the guys are right...if you baught those wheels already....and got them at a shop that told you they would fit....well they will...but only if you put a LIFT KIT on your car...otherwise any tire you put on there is going to rub like crazy....

the widest wheel you can get away with is a 7.5

dude, not only will 8.5s not fit...215s will NEVER fit on an 8.5, hell even 225 is cutting it close...

WHatever car CAN fit those, 245 is the narrowest i would go and that AINT goin on ANY protege...

they wont fit i tried the axis hagens in a 19 x8 44mm offset with a 215/ 35 and was a no go pilgram in the back. it would do major damage if you hit a bump hard enough. youd have to do some body work and/or machining the offset.
