My 2.0l has a lot of problems with aftermarket caps/rotors. I bought this car on the cheap 4 or so years ago because it was skipping and the original owners technician could not diagnose. I forget the code po30?...but it was a random misfire. Changed distributor, cap, rotor and plugs and wires. It wa fine for about 6 months and it started with a miss. Checked the cap and it was cracked so we replaced it, and to make a long story short I change the cap and rotor more than the oil.
I ended up going through Mazda and buying the oe stuff (which has been great)...can anyone recommend a place ( or some brands) where I could possibly find a true OE quality part that I dont have to order from a dealer? Our closest dealership is about 160 miles away and its soooo much easier to order online. Anyone else have this problem?
