1980 RX-7 in great condition

Well, a bit of bad or good news depending on which way you look at it. I went back to the place today and realized that I don't think they are in business anymore. The big sign has been spray painted over on one side and on the other partly torn off. The phone number is disconnected. So, I'm not sure who you would get a hold of.

The good news...well the car is not moving anytime soon and maybe if you can find out who has the title you can pick it up for cheap.

Something I just noticed. The miles on the Buyers Guide window sticker says 72,000 but the odo reads 78,118. Ummmm?

I thought I still had the email I traded with the guy who was selling it,and maybe still owns it,but I must have deleted it. Those pics I have are from September of 2006. I wonder if I can find the guys info through an ebay search. Doubtful I guess, but I will try. I would buy it if it were cheap, and then flip it because I don't have the space,or funds to keep it,but it is in pretty good overall shape.

all of this confusion.. id like to call someone but theres no number to call since its disconnected..and if no one is yet to be the owner of it and no contact person is known of alls i can rely on is u guys to help me out since u live closer..i appreciate the help guys.

Haha. I checked and the doors were locked. Not that a old 80's car is tough to boost. Hehe. Anyway I'll see what I can find out. Sucks for the VIN though because it's just on that cusp of the VINs changing to 17 digit in 1980.

Show Cause Hearing for Hyannis CARZ, Inc., d/b/a CARZ, 367 Yarmouth Road, Hyannis, Denise Williams, President, as it has been reported to the Licensing Authority by the Barnstable Police Department that on March 20, 2007 it did fail to maintain a UCRB in violation if MGL Chapter 140, Section 62 (28 counts) and that it did violate the terms of its Class II Auto Dealer License by exceeding the 16 vehicle limit imposed on the license

Hmm, sounds like he needs help reducing that number. My guess is none of the cars can move until after this is resolved since they are evidence.

Perry Mason is on the case of "The Little Rotor that Could"

(upbum)

When I see my neighbor (Barnstable Police Detective) I'll ask him about the place.

How about "Hawaii 1.1"? it doesn't need to be a 13B to be a rotary. I bet you,or someone could pick up the car cheap if,and when this legal matter works itself out with the dealership. Maybe I will have the funds by then, and scoop it up.

D & T Cars Inc. will operate the CARZ dealership at 367 Yarmouth Road in Hyannis under a new corporation with one officer, Antoine Gordon.

The licensing authority had revoked the license of Gordon’s fiance, Denise Williams, following a police investigation of record-keeping discrepancies at the business. Williams attributed those problems to a former partner.

While the Barnstable police review of Williams’s background is continuing, the department did not oppose granting Gordon the license to operate.
