195/70 r14 on P5

Hey,

I so need to get new winter tires (yeah its snowing again). My winter tires are almost dead!

So one of my step brother have these 195/70 r14, but i read in many books that 14 don't fit on P5. Is it always the case and what should i look for if i just give it a try?

Tx for your answer!

Best thing to do is try one. Probably won't work due to the brake caliper, but it never hurts to give it a shot.

I'm pretty sure they will be too tall but it can't hurt to try them.

185/65/14 is preferred but 185/70/14 will fit (ask me how I know) ;)

And yes early 90's Eclipse wheels fit just fine.

'93 Eclipes wheels (14x5.5 +38 offset) + 185/70/14 Blizzaks = snow fun :D

I'm running studded 185/70-14's, no problems other than non-hubcentric universal 5 lug steelies giving me some vibration.

195/70-14's will clear the strut spring perch without a problem. I currently have 195/60-16's on my P5 which have a radius .2 inches larger than 195/70-14's.

also 626 14" wheels will work, im running them with 190/65/14 on them, i think

If they will fit over the DX/LX drums, they will fit over the calipers on the P5.
