19' wheels and lowered springs

Hey guys.....I have searched this forum and could not find the info that I am looking for. I am looking at lowering my Speed 3 and getting some new wheels and tires. I would like to go with a 19" wheel to really compliment a lowered stance. So far I am thinking that a 19"x8" with a +48 to +50 offset with 235/35-19's.
Please let me know what you guys think.

honestly I think 18's will work better. 19's cost more and weigh more. A lot of ppl on here will agree, but it's your car. If ur goin 19's don't do the eibach kit it will lower too much. coilover or mazdaspeed sport springs are my suggestion 2 you good luck

Cool thanks for the advice. I should also state that I am a Red Seal Journeyman Autobody technician that has done paint and body work on some really cool customers cars in my area.....now it is time to do my own ride.....I still want the performance but since I will not be going to a track and not really daily driving my car, I am going more for looks. I still want the car to be functional but will mostly be for driving to shows and having a cool ride to cruise around in. My Speed will also get most of the performance mods....FMIC, turbo back exhaust, CAI, etc.....
I am also going to be doing a complete teardown and doing a complete professional color change.

so far it doesnt look like there's any rubbing but you'll be rolling on rubber bands so you'll feel about every bump in the road

I've seen a MS3 Rolling on 20" Rims. men that ms3 was absolutely pure damn sex, go with the 19" wheels and put 225/35/19 Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II Tires... 18" rims still look small in the MS3..

well, given that you are going for the looks, i would go with 225/40/18 for sure. the eibach springs should fit just fine with those...=d

yes, 235/40/18 is closer, but if you try to put them on the stock rims, that's gonna be WAY below its recommended rim width! =d

235's are too wide for 18's on the MS3. That's what SU told me anyway
