Yeah, go figure. That was a long time ago in the town next to where I grew up. It's a little burg in Ohio called Streetsboro. I think their only source of revenue was moving violations.
In one of the "Cannonball Run" movies, they are doing the pre-race brief, and say, "remember, there are no states that have the death-penalty for speeding, except we aren't sure about Ohio." (or words to that affect).
