188 whp & 190 ft lbs

from just a front mount intercooler and hard piping and intake? damn #s are looking good for performance mods. looks like SCC is right 3 mods they said were to do a front mount intercooler, boost controller, and exhaust

damn, not bad at all... not bad at all... you gunna raise the boost? over 200 hp with just 9psi would be damn nice.. you would EASILY get that..

Yeah, just hard pipes, bigger fmic (no fan used on dyno), and cai. It was SOOOOO i mean SSSSOOOO rich. It was off the charts very quick so a fuel tuning is def. necessary. Yes, I plan on putting the boost @ 10 psi to help some of the richness. I'm going to get a bigger radiator first then a full 3" exhaust. I mean from d/p to cat all the way to 3" I/D muffler. It's on! I'm hoping for at least 220 whp will all that and 10 lbs.

oh dude, you had better get 220.. s***,, if you pulled a 188 with stock psi.. you will prolly come close to 220 just by upping boost...

he will easily hit 230 whp 188 plus at least 50 hp from 3inch and 10 psi? damn if its 77 hp from 3 inch turbo back and 9 psi imagine 258 hp :) i love the sound of that!!!
oh given 15% drivetrain loss he already has approx 216 hp at the crank. Very nice numbers!

that whole 77 hp from the turbo back and upped boost is VERY unrealistic.. dont everyone go thinking if they get a turbo back and higher boost they will even get close to 77 hp...

sound,

how much did you have to fork over for those 3 mods?

yeah, i have some more pictures i just need to find them. they are on a disc some where.

also, this wasn't cheap. I have the receipt some where also. I can't find anything because i just moved. The spearco core itself was $530 and the alum. pipes were really really expensive. I ended up $1700 and some change. It it custom, it is quality, it shows good gains, and every tuner who has opened my hood is in aww. it goes back to you get what you pay for. i just didn't want to put a starion i/c on the car. i would of done that to my turbo tercel but not this.

Soundbombing:

Did you do before and after dynos? If not, then has anyone else with a stock MSP dyno'ed on the same machine?

Different dynos can measure lots of different numbers for the same car since their calibrations can be off. Without before/after dynos on the same machine, its hard to tell what your gains really were.

Do you have before/after 1/4 mile time slips? This would also give us a good idea how much real power you're now making.

Thanks.
