Actually this was a wash bay job w/a Zymol Spray wax rub down after I got home. It was the first wash of the year and damn, did it look good before the pollen set in! :p

Edit: I was initially mistaken, the wax I used was a Zymol spray wax, sorry!

u should get a car cover if u can't garage it
by the way looks very nice and clean
I've thought about that but haven't the slightest on where to get one. Do you know where I could get one offhand? I'd love to keep that pollen and grime off of it.

Thanks for the compliment! :D

a bit pricey....just checked, thought i'd never say this but u can do a search on google for car covers or search car cover for p5

anyways good luck

LOL, yeah, I was gonna check on google, just wondering if you knew of a place personally. Thanks for the link, I'll definitely check it out seeing as black is SUCH a hard color to keep up. You can see the minute scratches in the close-up side pic. Drive me crazy! :D Thanks again!

no problem, yeah i agree with u on that black is a hard color to keep clean, its sad to see after all that work it gets dirty. kind makes u want to say screw cleaning it its just gonna get dirty again....

You're not kidding! Just checked out the car cover costs... can this be considered a mod for that price?! :p Anyway, me thinks it might be a good investment for this year - the 17 year cicadas are set to hatch any day now and I'm nervous about their affect on my paint!(boom07)

YOu can also get a stock car cover through your dealer, Mazda makes them specifically for the proteges.

Lemme mosey on over to their site....
Commo'n and mosey on over back to the threads and tell us about ur trip to the site if it was any helpful (i think they might be the same price.but i'd probably get the offical mazda one)

yeah, quality car covers can be expensive. thats why i use one from my mom's old 1982 bmw 320i. it doesnt exactly fit but its pretty good quality and stays on the car and best of all it was free!
