Does this sound like a bad idea to anyone else?
Buy a new block and have it built before you do this, then you have something to put into your car after the motor goes.

buy a $150 methenol injection system and your motor might actually last. Wesman did a few 15psi runs without an EMS and lasted with his I believe. If you have race gas AND Methenol injection, you sure as hell wont be detonating. Make sure everything is mint, colder copper plugs are a must. Drive like you dont care about the tranny or your tires, make sure your spare and sub enclosure are out of the car and the gas light is on.

Detonation is not the enemy. I don't know how many times this has to be said. How many people have melted the pistons on a fairly stock msp? None?
Rods turning into pretzels is the problem. All the tuning in the world will not change that fact.
