Actually I think my car will last as long as stock, and I am over 200hp and have been for close to a year.Autox MSP said:sure you can make over 200whp. But the engine won't be durable.
If you want 200+ hp, MSP was the wrong choice. I've seen a SRT4 with a basic bolt son suspenion mods ripping the msp at the autoX and giving a EVO a run for its money.
Now the clutch has gone but I did expect that just not so soon

There is a reason I run 8psi on the streets for "daily" driving and 13psi only at the track with 100 octane. And I even have a spare engine.

if i wanted to boost 8 or 9 psi would i be "safe" with colder plugs, fcd, fpr, cai, and cat-back exhaust? or should i wait to get my downpipe first? also how much is unichip and how easy is it to use?

Need to be thinking about wheel hop at that point as well. Pretty fierce at 11psi.
In all honesty theres not much gain over say 9.5psi and 11psi. Better to keep things safe and gradually step things up. Maybe get a downpipe then catback and gradually step your boost up. You'll get better gains that way and quite a bit safer as well.

OMFG almost all of you guys are such bitches. Don't boost over 9 psi this and that. Jesus, there is more then enough fuel, the car runs extremely rich stock. There is more then enough fuel to run 9-10 psi daily with no other mads. I believe yashooa has been running 12 psi for quite sometime. 40,000 miles or something like that. Ive run 16psi with 2.5in DP, intake, fpr, and an axle back and my car is still running stong. I run 10psi daily, and once I get a new boostcontroller it is going back up to 12-13 psi daily. Stop being bitches about everything and just do it. If you don't have the money to fix something when it blows up, then don't boost it at all. Gotta pay to play.

Just twist that screw on the MBC all the way clockwise. And while your at it put a direct port 100 shot of NOS in there. keep in mind you're still driving an MSP... no need to come off like you're some kind of badass for boosting above stock.
I've got all the money i need but that doesn't mean I'm going to be careless with my car. $2400 for a new engine sucks no matter which way you look at it

i have been running a joe p mbc set for 10-11 psi, with a CAI, colder Plugs cat-less exhaust and my car is doing fine you also have a FMIC and hardpipes thats even better IMO you'll be fine BUT if you just need the extra piece of mind (and you have 900 bux) get the unichip
