If you want a loud exhaust, Greddy SP2 is not for you. It does have that famous Greddy growl when you accelerate, but its as quiet as stock at idle. The acceleration is smoother and the torque pull is better through all gears.
SP2 for MSP, but I'm sure they will be similar to p5.

i definitely agree with the huge. not sure about the loud though. it sounded pretty mellow and deep to me. if i remember correctly, it has 2 resonators and a muffler, so it's not loud. loud would be the hks canister style exhaust. the greddy evo sounds nothing like it.
 
It's HEADER, not HEADERS...we have an inline engine here people.....get with the "V" crowd and talk headers...
 
shareef i have the tein springs and stock struts..if u wanna take a ride im usually free and i think the ride is smooth as stock...though a few people have said its too much of a drop...i think its a good height
 
i have the greddy cat back with injen intake and to me the intake is way louder than the cat back. my only beef is that the muffler tip is pretty big in diameter approx. 5 1/2 inches . The tip draws too much attention from civic ricers where i live they all assume that its a fart cannon till i take off on them and it's not that loud
 
Ordered the racing beat cat-back (hope to have them by Friday to install)

I wanna sell my polished Injen CAI to buy the K&N typhoon, but for now I do have the Injen installed.

Bijou-MP5: i joined the GB for the ractive header, but what's up with the o2 sensor. it isn't clear as to what you'd have to do before you install the headers. i noticed u joined the GB already, do u know what we'd have to do to get these installed. it seems that these aren't just bolt-on. and where did u get ur tints done, thats a good price and nice warranty.

The header itself is a 4-1(not 4-2-1) 1 piece design bolting directly to the 2nd cat. YES thats right it does not remove or replace the 2nd cat.

Yes you will need a CEL fix OR will need to have a shop weld a bung right behind the 2nd cat on your mid pipe for the 2nd O2 sensor which runs about 10-20bux.(also lengthening the o2 sensor tube/line) So basically if you buy the header and the MIL fix no other mods are needed, it will be direct bolt on(no test pipes).


if you don't do cel fix or weld a bung right behind the 2nd cat, you will get engine check up light. more specific questions just pm KYMP5 he is more knowledgle than me about header :)
 
well, whenever I get the headers, I'll drop by my local mechanic and see what he can do. thanks.

still need to know where to get the tints done though. i can't find any local shops (actually, too lazy to find one thats good)

you should shop around chicago area or go to place called carboutique.
their tinting costs increases if color gets darker but normal will be just $150~200
 
got an address for carboutique??? i was told $125 to tint my cavalier (2 door), so for that range it ain't too bad for all windows on a P5.
 
I got my 35% all around tints done in South Holland at a joint called Aztec last summer. Around $135 out the door. Guaranteed.
