1/4 mile times with slip

Just experiment with shift point and see. I can't address your combo of mods and your AP tune. I can say that our K04 turbo is small. Because of that it builds boost quickly and builds lots of torque down low, but thermal ineffeciency takes it toll at higher rpm. By 6,000 rpm the turbo is just pooped out, and I don't think there is much that a tune can do about that, although some say otherwise.

Alright Ill def do a couple different runs. I appreciate it

I think it will be a matter of practice. Sure you will be nervous. i was too. Try to go on a test and tune night when it is not too busy and try a couple differnt methods. It will start to become fun after enough repetitions. I agree that a low rpm launch to avoid the excessive wheelspin is a good approach and shifting early is the method of choice on this car. You will get the hang of it i bet. good luck and have fun! I really need to learn how to launch this car!! wheelspin is just silly. Be aware of heat soak in the staging lane too. Definitely the downside of the top mounted intercooler.

Well done. you should put it up on the website that is dragtimes.com. Are you going to mod the car at all? Not that you need to running that well!

wow this thread has been silent. I'll post the slip later but I'm very pleased after 46K daily driver miles I was able to run a 14.3 I/MM/BPV ... getting a little faster!
I thought the car was getting a little tired but she ran great!

Excellent 60 ft. With your ability to drive, you can really knock the ET down into the mid 13's with intake alone, probably. I have great trouble getting 2.1 60's. Mostly 2.2's even 2.3's. Care to share how you launch?

come on dude read the thread. probably 5 different people with fast 60' times have given their exact launching mantra.

I've followed this thread very closely, dude. Some of those posts are mine. I was asking how DANZ launches. Can you tell me how DANZ launches by reading the prior posts?

To be clear, Danz, how do you, personally, launch to get the 2.1 60 ft.?
