1/4 mile times with slip

From what i understand the way you get a higher trap speed is because you have more wheel spin throughout the track, so in turn if i had less spin i would have had a better trap time.

Higher trap speed= lower trap time usually....

Yeah I had almost no wheel spin. That probably explains my low trap speed

just got back from my first trip in this thing to the track...

2.356 60ft, 14.33@101, probably a only few feet above sea level.

mods are SRI, MM inserts and MP.

I'll attach the slip tomorrow.

traps are low surely because of my weight (330lbs), the 12" sub and the over 3/4 tank level...i stated before i can't worry about stuff like that because that is how the car is on the street every day.

you know what's really weird? right lane column on that slip is almost identical in every single aspect, sometimes to the hundredth, to my last run, except i trapped 101. weird....

on relatively low power cars like this, that doesn't matter as much compared to cars that truly are spinning wheels through several gears many times and are dancing down track.

what directly effects our traps is weight. all else equal, the heavier the car, the lower the trap, the lighter the car, the higher the trap. subwoofers, gas @ 8lbs a gallon, extra stuff, body weight- this stuff effects traps like it did with me. ET is directly related to 60ft. ideally, for every 10th at the light, you get over 2 10ths through the traps. it's pretty dead on with street cars.

well, summer is the worst time to run your car anyway. it's too hot and too humid to run your best times.

oh, im not talking about it in regards to the street guys; im talking about all the circuits that draw sponsorships and thousands of people; most of the remainder of the country does run in the spring/summer, and i am under the assumption these events visit florida during their "tours".
