@007 Camry SE actually looks good with lower skirting

rear 3/4 view looks pretty nice...but that front grill really messes up the whole look of the car.

the grill just doesn't do it for me at all. i think with some minor changes it could be really nice. one thing about all of toyota's ground effects....they just look slapped on. For example, look at the front bumper....does the skirt have to be so wide?

Yeah that's how Toyota does it. They are like "hmm ground effects. Let's take a clean and simple car design and add a ton of curves and lines to it right at the bottom". Mazda knows to keep the ground effects smooth and simple to reflect the overall design of the car.

i like the grille with the horizontal lines better, but other than that, the front looks like pre-nosejob jennifer grey, overall looks like an avalon. and the size of that thing is bigger than my mom's balls. i'd rather take a maxima ^.^

The front end looks like poo poo. The nose of the hood looks out of place. I really don't like it that much.

I like the new Camry. That lowering skirts thing looks good on the car. I like those last 2 pictures those rims look good on the car.

Is it just me or to the lines make this car look like a bloated Infiniti Q45? This car looks bigger than anything Lincoln has come out with.

Although, that being said, lower it, get a thinner front lip to match the thickness of the sides and rear, and those rims and you have a great soccer mom car.

i think its pretty hot, only thing that really has to go it the front grill. like someone says buck tooth ::thumbs down::

Time to lock this thread down buddies! It's a frickin' Camry! :D

I drove the new IS350 a few months ago.... and I don't know.... I'm always amazed by Toyota perfection, yet the masterful ability to suck all the fun out of everything. Everything I despise about 4 wheel transport. If I marry a woman who is not a 'driver', not that I'd care, sure I'll buy her the nicest used Lexus I can afford..... they last forever.... if you want an appliance, drive one, more power to you. My life is too short to drive an appliance personally.

you try to decorate an ugly bulbous turd and you end up with a decorated bulbous turd - end of story

You make a good point. Camry's and Accords are getting too big. Years ago we Honda/Japanese owners would laugh at the gas guzzling v6/v8's, oversized american sedans and mock them for poor handling due to weight.

Now, everyone's got a v6, and they are all too big and heavy. Heck even the Mazda 6 is going to be bigger.

Midsize sedans have gotten way to big. I like my Altima but its just to big. I'm looking to downsize to a smaller car. I park next to a 01 BMW 740i at work and my car is the same size as the 7. I like the size the previous Altima. For current cars that are the right size are the Mazda 6 and Subaru Legacy.

When you come right down to it most of us drive appliances.

Unless you drive a Mazda...seriously!

Some people are happy driving a toaster with wheels but I would rather NOT have a car at all than drive something that exudes less than ZERO character, charm, passion, style, or emotion.

Simply stated...I'm genuinely excited when I see a Mazda on the road...I don't even flinch when I see a Toyota or Honda passing by...Even Nissan has become a sort of Japanese Pontiac with wannabe futuristic styling and ever-increasing model size...What happened to lean and mean Japanese machines?

Subaru is cool but they lack passion and style...Mazda has really honed in on it's "Zoom Zoom" philosophy and I dig it!

i like the camry, however, i agree with the statement that toyota sucks the fun outta everything. as far as new cars go i'd have to say nissan owns all and i will definately be going back to either an infiniti or nissan vehicle next
