yeah, that most likely would have helped. i always just used the preset for the drag mode. either way, it didn't accelerate near as quick as the other cars i was racing, so it made sense to use something i had actually unlocked and was a little more powerful out of the box.

I basically beat the first game and this one almost solely with the Miata. I did have to break down and build a drag car for NFSU2 because the Miata kept blowing up. At least this one can share the honor with the first one of having one of the most anticlimatic endings for a game.

all the 9-3s are turboed. a good friend of mine has the 9-3 arc trim (210hp), but he has an auto and he can't keep up with me. they are really nice looking these days and nice to ride in.

all of AOL's traffic is (or at least used to be) routed through VA. they proxy serve traffic, so any AOL user appears to have an ip coming out of AOL's headquarters in that general region. not a good resource when trying to identify location.

they are progressive, goldline just doesn't make the range public (they only give final rates), so people think they are linear.
