Ok, searched, and hardly anything came up....

My friend can hook me up with some goldline lowering springs, but i don't know much about them. Anyone have them? I'd like to know pros/cons. Also how much drop front/rear? And a lot of times i have 4-5 people in my car + a shitload of stuff in the back. If im running heavy like that, are these springs gonna screw my tires over with rubbing on the well?

Pics would be great too!

Thanks,
Tony (rockon)

They rock. The lower the car about 1.8 inches. Handling is improved, ride quality is about the same because they are progressive springs. It was good enough that almost everyone who rode in my car ended up getting them. A few even switched from spool springs.

sweet, thanks. How about when you have a full load, does the car lower so much that it's a problem?

...SRD555, you owned me....i searched, but i found crap. Thanks for the results though!

1st off, they are linear, not progressive.
2nd, they drop 1.6 inches, not 1.8

yeah i got mine from fc3 boy and they are great, good ride and love the cornering with these they dropped mine about 1 3/4 after settling.if you can get them from fc3 he is really good to order from and quick shipping too.

they are progressive, goldline just doesn't make the range public (they only give final rates), so people think they are linear.

Says who?
According to the spring thread, the only progressive springs available for our cars are the Eibachs Pro-Kit, and the iON (Sport and Race).
Everything else is linear.(canada)

I need to change that. generix is correct, the Goldines are progressive and those are final rates.

hey tony.

i got those springs sitting under my bed lookin for a good home. seems that alot of people like em (i do to, but i got some other priorities). if you're interested, just PM me and we can talk more.

if not, then anybody can call dibs on em - new set (unused) of goldlines picked up from fc3s boy.

ok so pretty much everything sounds great about these springs. My only concern is that if i have 2-3 people in the backseat + extra stuff in the trunk (which i drive like that -- extra 1000 lbs. -- nearly everyday), with the wheels rub real bad? and how bad a thing is that? (IMO that would NOT be good). Lemme know...cuz i like these springs, but i dun want no rubbin'.

Tony

here is a pic with about 100lb of stereo stuff in the back, I have'nt had any problems with rubbing on the MSP w stock wheels
