Anyone see the Falcon's game?

I have season tickets so I was there. Wow what an awesome game. That was down to the wire. A nice OT victory for my team.

Plus there were about four fights in my section during the game. I was so torn. I didn't know if I wanted to watch the game or watch 2 drunks beat on each other.

exactly. The falcons aren't going to take homefiled throughout the playoffs from philly and since they are ahead of the remaining teams in the nfc they are safe. But carolina needed the win to stay ahead of the rams. I hope the panthers make it in for more reasons than just my fan status. They are truly the best of potential teams still contending for the wild cards in the lowly NFC.

I'd have to agree with you but honestly who is the next best team in the nfc behind the eagles (even minus TO)? There really isn't another quality team besides the falcons. Carolina is playing with 5th string players at key positions and half of the practice squad is starting. The vikings are dangerous offensively but the defense is a joke. The packers severely lack depth and can't stop the pass. The rams have zero heart or desire. And I'm not even going to mention the seahawks because they are the model for underachievement.

The falcons could make it to the superbowl. They won't win it but it only takes a few wins to get there. The will be playing at home and if they keep winning will only have to go to philly assuming the eagles make it past their 1st round game.

I know this will sound very bias but I honestly think the only team that can contend in the NFC besides ATL and PHI is Carolina and they may not even make the playoffs. Everything else I've seen from the remaining teams is pathetic. That's why I was so dissappointed in Saturday nights game.

Yes, the Falcons seem to have squeaked by with a lot of ugly games, and then been demolished by bad teams. They have been a lucky team all season, and I'll take it, I just hope we don't see a terrible record/season next year.

As for the NFC, it is pretty much one huge, bad joke this year. I'm just glad I can enjoy some good seasons record-wise with the Falcons after having to suffer through years of terrible ones.
