I'm just guessing, but that may be the case because a 1966 Chevy was made way before the strict California emissions came into force. Stuff like that is never retroactive (AFAIK), which exempts all cars made prior to these rules coming into effect.

If I do buy an MSP, I would be very interested in the parts you mentioned. If I could get the car running 200-210whp, I'd be more than happy.

Newf, seriously, how often do you actually get these bushings replaced? I'm hoping you're exaggerating... I know you've said when the bushings are bad they really affect handling, and I really don't want to be in the shop every 4 weeks during the autox season.

Jason, AFAIK the Cooper S has been reclassed in G-Stock. And yes, the MSP is in D-Stock.
