i hold my head in shame....beat by a saturn!

well yesterday on the way home from work i saw a green saturn coupe, it was lowered, a big muffler and coming up behind me. we played a little on the freeway, took the tc exit, then took a frontage exit. he started slowing down to a stop, rolled his window asked me if i wanted to race, of course i said yes. we line up, on the third honk we left, all i heard was his or my tires spinning and his exhaust. through 1st gear his pulled up about a half a fender, with each shift he gained alittle by little. every time he shifted i still had about another 800 rpm till 7000 (where i shift). anyway in the end about 90 or so when we shut down he was about a car length or 1 1/2 at the most. well when i pulled back up to him he wanted to know what size motor i had , i said 2.0. i asked him what he had, he told me cams and some head work. i sure there is more but he turned off. i am soo pissed i should have won but the damn bottle was empty!!!! it has been on my mine 4 2 days. all in all i am pleased with it. let there be a next time witha full bottlle. he said his next mod is nitrous. so untill next time, i looking 4 him!!!!!

How long have you guy's had your nitrous installed?
Do you notice any decrease in performance?
Also, how reliable is your car now? I was thinking about getting a 50 or 75 shot. Nothin big. Just a little extra power. How much have you spent on these types of kits?
Is it woth it?

Sorry for all the questions, but, I,m not "with it" when comes to nitrous.

127hp 2300lbs...of course he beat you, SC2 and SL2's have at least a full second advantage to 60 because they weigh 400lbs less.

Well I would hope they are light ... they do have plastic body panels You might also do better at racing if you learn to tell whether or not your tires are spinning.

actually those Saturn SC2's have alittle bit of balls. 124hp and 122lb-fts torque.

there are numerous #'s on C&D, R&T, MT. The SC2 is no slouch, i think the SC2...VS...MP3 is a drivers race IMO.
