If you're worried about 1/4 don't buy an import. A nice mustang or Camaro with some 3.73's and slicks will be great at it. :)
To be honest, I don't see very many RSX's at all...
i pwn my friends 2003 gt with 3.73s and full exhaust and an intake(from a roll lol)

that's great if you dont need a daily driver...RWD(he lives in MA=snow ;)), plus two doors, plus unuseable back seat, plus bad build quality=not a good choice.

Not to mention a WRX with simple suspension mods will pwn on the auto-x course. Its just SOOO much more versatile. If you want to purpose build the car the RSX will own the WRX in twisties, if you turbo it, it will probably own the WRX with stock tranny and slicks. But if you want a kick ass, all purpose daily driver look no further than Japan's finest. SuBaRu WRX :D

you can tell I wanted one bu couldnt afford it so i resorted to the P5 :D

oh, and already being turbo there are so many more options with the WRX...and the quality aftermarket parts-vishnu, turboXS, godspeed, prodrive, etc... aernt NEARLY as expensive as that honda crap-Hondata, Mugen, etc...
Hondata is a lot cheaper than many of the WRX engine management stuff. With the Hondata K Pro, the Type S is going to be able to run in the 13s with just an intake & exhaust.

if it anit sti it not worth the money. ive seen all motor rsx-s run as fast as a wrx. Wrx is the cool car to have right now, i used to like it too but its just the in car. the type-s is really just an awesome top of the line class just like the STI is. Id be happier int he rsxs

No one has mentioned that the Type S has arguably the BEST/SMOOTHEST shifter you'll ever feel. I drive my friend's RSX-S & it's unreal how different it feels from my car. I tried to convince his brother to get an MSP, but he is saving for a Type S primarily because of shifter feel.

About the snow thing, even with the AWD I'm not dumb enough to drive like it's summer time. I don't think that' the issuse for me. I'm a safe driver....Im a step 9 damn it! haha and someone said the RSX has no usable interior and no legroom. There is no center console, i can agree with you on that and the no legroom part, that's a plus for me! I hate being the taxi driver with the P5. All the more reason not to take my car out now.

Sti? If I had the $$$, I wouldn't made up this thread in the first place!

OH and another thing, no offense but theres no way I'll ever own another American car!! I don't care if its' the GT, Vette or the Viper! Sorry but not for me....

How about save up a little more $$ and get an Evo or an RX-8??
Why not an Elise? why not a used 95+ NSX? That's the problem with me. I end up liking something new by then....

(lol)Man,I have that same problem. There are so many cars out there that are sick but the problem is that we are not billionaires and can't buy all these cars,we are stuck w/ just getting one(hehe).I hear ya,bro.

Wait, I have another solution. Why not save up about a lot more money and get the Skyline when it arrives herre(2007),hopefully,there is room on the waiting list(burnout)

WRX = win.

short, sweet, to the point...

I dunno where you guys live, but all I can attest for is where I live, and HERE the WRX is not "the thing to have"

Im not doubting that it is in your area, cuz it prolly is if u see em hooked up all the time. I see more RSX's than new civics(01+) around here to be completely honest.

AWD definitely helps in the snow man. I dont drive my outback like Im invincible, but my other cars DONT MOVE in the snow(shrug)

In response to the Hondata thingy and putting an RSX-S in the 13s there are two simple ways to put a WRX in the 13s.
1. Up-pipe, and turbo back exhaust...
2. Properly tuned UTEC

Both around $1000...if you combine em then low 13s pretty easy. Ya jsut cant beat turboAWD as far as Im concerned. Which is why Im saving for a turbo 2006 LegacyGT :D

ahhhhh.... i like the RSX's but you know the WRX's are so much sexier!!!(hump)
