Any Golfers?

HOw'd you guys learn all the rules for golfing? 18 holes is what I'm talking about..
Play with someone who knows and learn as you go. I still don't know all the rules. And I occasionally "bend" some of the ones I do know.

Well the weather in STL has been nice so played all weekend long (I skipped class sat. shhhh...). I just bought a new driver off ebay yesterday too. I got the Callaway C4 brand new for $120. Not a bad deal and it'll be nice to upgrade from my 7 year old Biggest Big Bertha. What sticks everybody else playing?

Cool...that's either a love it or hate it club. Hopefully you're in the love it category.

I used to have a BBB Driver. Traded it in last year for a Cleveland Launcher.

My bag currently consists of:

Cleveland Launcher Driver
Callaway Hawkeye 3 wood
TaylorMade Vsteel 5 wood
Ping i3 Irons
Titleist Vokey Wedges
Oddysey 2ball Putter

Played this weekend. Started out promising but ended the day stinking it up. That, unfortunately is my modus operandi right now though. I blow up on a couple of holes and then I kinda give up. Sometimes that means I play better but more likely than not I just get careless and stink it up.

Oh wells, enjoy the new club!

Complete Taylormade set, accessorized with everything adidas ;)

If you ever make it out here, i could hook u up with tours and the works.

I guess I could've mentioned what I play:

Biggest Big Bertha (Soon to be replaced with the C4)
Tight Lies ST 3 wood
Big Bertha X-16 Pro Series Irons
Clevland wedges
Two Ball Odessy Putter

Cool...that's either a love it or hate it club.
That's what I've heard. I love all the BB clubs so hopefully I will love this one too. I've hit the C4 a couple times and it felt really good. Should have it in time for the 60 degree weekend.

Here's a somewhat interesting fyi. Taylormade and Callaway headquarters are about a football field apart. As you could imagine its a competive area around here.

Im a 5 handicap and live in Roswell, Ga.

I play:

975J driver with Fujikora Speeder shaft.
Taylor Made 200 Steel 3 wood.
Nike Pro Combo irons 3-pw.
Nike 53* and 58* wedges.
Scotty Cameron Putter.

Im 17 too, not sure if I wanna do it for a living yet.

Mili how do you like those pro combos? I almost bought those instead of the BB's. And Notorious hook me up with some good deals!

I started playing with a borrowed set of Wilsons -- not even God can hit them!

My in-laws (gotta love em) bought me a complete set of Golden Bear clubs (graphite shaft w/ ti heads on drivers, and s.s. on irons). I'm still working on my consistency -- like I said before I play very irregularly -- but these clubs are waaaay better than the old Wilsons.

Played with some Callaway Red and Blue balls last year -- really nice!!!

I just started playing the Callaway CTU Blue ball. I love it. Has a real soft feel putting and good accuracy off the driver. And best of all they're $20 a dozen now. I'll let you know how the C4 does. I've hit a couple time already with good results. I need forgivness not more length(that's the reviews I've heard about it) so I hope this is the right club.

That ball is really old. I played it one time, didn't really like it.

Im playin the HX Tour, and Pro V1 these days.

Well I already sold the C4...ummm can we say junk. The club is just really light and cheap. I hit it good but the feeling and sound of the club suck. I went out and bought a used Callaway VFT 10* driver and I love it. I got the regular flex shaft which has taken alittle distance away but I'm hitting the ball straight. I gave up the CTU's and now play the Pro V's. I still like the CTU but the Pro V's give me the extra distance that I lost. I played in a four man scramble last week and chipped in an unblievable eagle and won $100 cash and $100 pro shop gift certificate. I think I've played 20 times since the last time I posted here. I'm addicted to golf. Here's how I explain it to people who don't play golf..."I will sell crack to school childern to support my green's fee's."
