and yes.. i kno.. i need to vaccum.. im workin on gettin all the dvds off the floor -=P

i've doubled up on one of my shelves. not as many as you have, but more than i need. my pride and joy right now is the spike jonze/chris cunningham/michel gondry director's set. the music videos on these discs are pretty amazing.

the first dvd i bought in 1997 was james bond "tomorrow never dies." what a crappy movie that was.

You can go to IKEA and get some really decent DVD/CD/VHS shelf that hold tons of DVDs.

yeah.. that case that i have.. the black one.. was like $250 and held 340 dvds. -=\ its full i got dvds everywhere. im thinkin about just making one whole wall a shelf.. LoL.. well see. -=P

Storage shouldn't even be an issue -- just go and get a 400-disc changer and that will store every movie you have easily. Then just toss the over-sized cases (whoever the moron is that thought DVD cases should be bigger than CD jewel cases shoul be shot). I know Kenwood and Sony make inexpensive 400-disc changers for sure, and there's probably many other brands available too.

oh yeah, well I have eleventy billion DVD's, so there. actually it's more like 30 or 40.

I have like, 30...lol..my pride and joy thugh, is my Dazed and Confused VHS(bough before DVD's, Original copy Dazed and Confused DVD, and Dazed and Confused:Flashback Edition

I used to have serious storage issues as well. I didn't want to buy any of those expensive heavy duty wood units, so I waited until Office Depot had a 50% off sale on their 160 DVD shelves. I bought 3 and I nearly filled up all of them. I already have them cataloged on a simple Excel sheet, so sorting them shouldn't be too bad. Not including boxed collections, I think I have about 460.

Between my roomate and I we have somewhere between 550 and 600.

About 450 of those are mine.
