I can't imagine the cost of retrofitting those parts.There must be a way to enable AA/ACP HUD display for previous years, either with software, or hardware swap
HUD directions (AA/ACP) is the only thing that I miss in my '21 cx5
In the worst possible case that would be a retrofit of CMU + HUD assembly + harness + coding

That's a bigger issue. I'm sure that dealers wouldn't do that, but could non-dealer shops have the right tools? As I understand, software might have something to do with Toyota, I have no idea but wildest guess -- is there any chance programming is compatible with Toyota tools?
