Android Auto on HUD

Hello. I have a 23 cx5 Premium plus. Updated to the latest software and navigation card. I can't get Android Auto to generate on heads up display like factory maps. Phone is 24+ on latest software and update as and Google maps. Thank you

2024+ shows ACP on the HUD. I'm not aware of any showing AA yet.

Us 2023 owners are out of luck.
That is silly it would only show CP and not AA. Why even bother if it doesn't work for both types of phones. I don't get automakers not including both AA and CP on any infotainment done today. Neither one is going anywhere soon.

I could be wrong about Android Auto but I believe that's what I've read. Others will chime in I'm sure.

There must be a way to enable AA/ACP HUD display for previous years, either with software, or hardware swap
HUD directions (AA/ACP) is the only thing that I miss in my '21 cx5
In the worst possible case that would be a retrofit of CMU + HUD assembly + harness + coding

I can't imagine the cost of retrofitting those parts.

Ebay makes it affordable, or at least doable
and also coding is a very well kept secret for the gen7 vehicles. This is not VW or BMW
That's a bigger issue. I'm sure that dealers wouldn't do that, but could non-dealer shops have the right tools? As I understand, software might have something to do with Toyota, I have no idea but wildest guess -- is there any chance programming is compatible with Toyota tools?
