Just a question, Nukey. Why'd you choose to keep the roof rack on?

I sure hope it wasn't a 2002 only color, the dealer didn't say a word about it, and I can't find any mention about it anywhere.

Dude...

1987 Audi 4000 quattro, H&R springs, Boge shocks - current autocross car, soon to be winter/rallycross car (I will never sell her)
Man, you are awesome...I sure do appreciate Audi lovers (and mazda of course). My family has two Audis (2002 A4, 2001 A6)...just phenomenal cars...the looks...the ride...interior...turbos...quattro...just beautiful!!! If you ever do want to sell your beauty, make sure you let me know. I love WRC...and of course, Audi are my favourite...and especially the 80's!
The joy of audi...never follow ;)

Enjoy your new P5. Even though they are no Audis, they still do kick some ass in the looks and handling department!

TheHonzaP5,

In stock form the P5 handles better than my 1998 A4 (until you try to add power in a corner) Ride is better too. I will miss the power and the extra little goodies like heated seats, automatic climate control, and quattro. But I'm keeping the 4000 for the winter, here's a shot of my old A4...

eMKay-

Nice!! I still like the rear of the old A4's over the new ones (somehow made them look sportier).
You know, you are the second person that has noted that regarding the comparo between the P5 and older A4. Looks like they really improved the new one, but also the 17" wheels, sport suspension, esp etc., CVT might have something to do with it also.
I managed to pull up an old pic, about a year old...not that good.

Hey eMKay, how long have you had your Boge shocks in your Audi. I had some in my jetta for one summer untill I got rid of it. Some guys were saying that they wouldnt have lasted me another summer if I had kept the car. They said that Boges never last more than a year or so.

Personally I loved the shocks. I still have them in the rafters of my garage. I am wandering if I should sell them or should I junk em? I dont want to sell them and they only last a couple of months.:(

Boge shocks were standard equipment on my car from the factory, the ones that were on there were oil filled, and the ones I put on were 15% stiffer gas shocks, they will last as long as any gas shock, or 30,000-50,000 miles.
