What's up folks! Did anyone here have any issues with installing their HIDs? I feel like mine are REALLY messed up. Any in put would be great :)

Where did you order them from and what issues are you having?

I know some people say that the base of the bulb is loose... I didn't have any issues from DDM.

Yes, I can tell you getting the bulbs properly seated and getting those clips properly back in place is a PAIN. Look very closely from the front of the light at where the bulb comes through, they should be perfectly seated out all the way around. Then when re-installing the clips make sure they are back in the way they came out. goodluck

i dont think i saw clips in there like that...when i pulled on the boot the entire bulb came out no problem

you should have had to pull a clip off to the side and up out of the way to get the stock bulb out???

this should help you too...http://www.floptical.net/mazda/

The stock halogen bulbs have an adapter on the back of them that the metal spring clip pushes on to hold the bulb in place. If your HID kit didnt come with the spacer on the back of the HID bulb to compensate for the adapter, the bulb it wont stay in place...

My DDM kit didn't come with a spacer, and it fit like a charm, maybe even a little tight. If the OP didn't see a metal spring clip, I'm willing to be the previous owner took them off and just the boots were holding the bulbs in place...

Well thats strange. My DDMs wont fit without the spacer... I have the 55w slim ballasts but that should not make any difference.

mine came with the adapter so the wires can pass through the boot but no clips...

getting new headlights next week though so i'll just deal for now they still adjusted fine just took a lot of turning to get the beams straight instead of up and left.
