Help!!!

I recently removed my dash to be painted in black,in the process i decided to play with a little box which has a plastic cover which i opened,when i did that,a piece came out of there and the cable got out of it.
The cable goes from the ignition on the steering column towards the firewall.
I need help on how to properly put it back together.

actually,i got out from work early today,went home,relax and put my mind to it.
After observing and trying few pieces i was able to put that black box together with the white piece and the cable.
So everything seems to go where it supossed to go.
I even downloaded a maintenance manual for the 2000 protege but was not able to find that piece that i am mentioning here.
i wish i knew the name,all i know is that is a black cable that goes from the ignition switch to a black box(the one i opened) and continues to the firewall.
I gather is something related to the ignition.

i will let you know when i put my car back together if i am still alive lol!!!

Yeah Max,you have no idea how happy i am,feel like superman hehe!.
btw,i just got the light today,they left if at my neighbor's door,thanks and i will send that tomorrow.

That's because the manual doesn't cover components that are never supposed to be disassembled in the first place, lol. (silly)

You are damn right,i shouldn't have played with that stupid little box lol!

I already cut the hole on the plastic steering cover,it was pre-cut,you just trimmed open with exacto knife,all is left to do is find the little screws to attach the piece to it..
As for the green light,i will have a "mc gyver" moment and replace with a clear plastic,the bulb i will replace with a #74 white LED.
I will post pics on the "updating my interior"
