What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Sharkfin looks nice. Mine is slightly off but you can only tell if you look really close.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm a spaz about things being level, lol. But I can literally tell if a picture is hanging 1/8" off to one side from like 50' away, so that definitely helped.

Looks good Douge. I wish you could have used the one I have laying in the garage. :D

Alright so I flashed the map today with the leaner AFR for the meth. OMG this car pulls like a freaking jet!! I couldnt believe it. If I could race the way my car has been setup I would smoke it. By my ass dyno this is the most power increase I have ever felt from any mod on this car. I just hope the meth doesnt decide to not spray..

Thanks man, yeah, too bad I didn't know, but it's all good.

As for the meth... check this out http://www.labontemotorsports.com/store/ccp0-prodshow/VC-IFS-10.html. I'm thinking of getting that for my Labonte Stage 2 kit when I get it in a couple weeks. I was looking at the wiring diagram with/without the fail safe, and it looks like it would be much easier to install it all at once. Click on the "view product data sheet" in that link, and you'll see what I mean. It's not a big deal to add the fail safe, just a bit of a pita. That's why I'm thinking I'd rather pick that up and do it all at once. I don't think I could deal with not knowing if it's working or if there's a problem... especially if you're tuning for meth, and running lean afrs.

When I mounted my sharkfin I cut out a template and measured distances until I got it right, then taped that in place and stuck the fin on with no fuss. Yes, I'm anal too.

Since I bought mine on the forums, it didn't come with the 3M "gasket" so I bought one for $8. However, it was a little too big, so I had to cut out a couple small pieces out so it fit perfect. I attached the gasket to the sharkfin first, and then placed it on w/ the wire attached, and eye-balled it a half dozen times.... I walked like 15 feet or so in front of the car to check, and then back. I made a couple marks around the back of the sharkfin w/ some of my gf's eyeliner, LOL. I don't think that helped very much, but I plunked it down well enough, so I'm happy. Plus, that eyeliner wiped right off w/ just some water.

Put my 6 up for sale, not that I want to sell it, but if something came along...

someone get ready to sell a speed6 in MD....will be in the market very soon!! just got to convince the gf i can afford it haha

mine are sexier... check the wheel or LPM thread for pictures of mine.. i actually the the version 2's with the full machined face

indeed those rims are awesome...but im not one for black rims EXCEPT on certain cars and those would look sexy black on a tgm ms6 or even wwp

What did I do? Freeked out with a CEL, 3 codes I got :((argh).

The Clamp next to the THrottlebody was a B.. Somebody had installed it backwards as in upside down and it was stuck against the Block even after I got the screw out it was still jammed had to use a pointy thing to knock the clamp off

wow, its pretty cool to see the actual piece and see the differences from stock because ive never seen that piece from Autoexe in person. Lol at the clamp being stuck against the block, i remember doing that to myself and having a b**** of a time getting it back off when i switched to the cp-e FMIC back in 07'

notice any performance gains??
