What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Yeah...my little button on teh trunk no worky.
I can open it no problem from the buttons on the door & the Adv Key.
Meh...i'll ask Mazda how much $, but its really not worth the trouble if its expensive.

hmm how much difference was there, wonder if youve got bad shocks. the wheels look great on the car though and i dont see any issues from the pictures you just posted, check the shocks and see if there wet on the bottom?? you may also hear some clunking in the rear end if this is the case.
otherwise it may have been just how the car was lifted, really cant give ya a 100% answer without a picture of what it looked like on the lift

my tape measure is somewhere in a warehouse on the east coast since the movers are taking their sweet time, but I think the front arches might go slightly larger than the rear arches. I might be crazy, though. Also my car is parked in the garage now and I dont wanna pull it out (I'm still giddy about having a garage now!)
my dad was driving my car last night while i was working and introduced it to the curb by accident (blarf) one 3 week old tenzo type M sacrificed to the car gods:'(
hopefully its not going to be as hard to get a replacement rim as it was to get the set of them

ok guys i have finally decided on some things for the build
my turbo will be a Turbonetics GTK-500!!!

- both will be ordered next week
- devils own meth injection stage 2 w/ 2.5 gallon sump tank, and a assortment of nozzles is already ordered.
- DEI Cryo2 Intercooler spray kit is already ordered
- calling a few vendors next week
im still unsure of which piston/rods setup i want, also unsure of where to send out my head to get ported.
did i mention that turbo is massive!! if not ill mention it again

ohh and the teardown starts on Monday, i hope to have the motor pulled by that night, and it on the engine rotisserie tuesday.
hurry and get that monster torn down and built up so we can do my car!

i pm'd you about when were opening up, did you get it, excited to do your build, i can do 2 or more builds at the same time, so no worries their..
teardown process begins in 16 hours.
mine are sexier... check the wheel or LPM thread for pictures of mine.. i actually the the version 2's with the full machined face

Washed my car today and did a little bit of detailing to the interior. I made some adjustments to my map. I leaned out the afr's to 12.1 at wot. Found out I have been running too rich with meth. So this is a meth only map. Car feels a whole lot better I must say.

I FINALLY got around to cleaning the 3M tape of the wwp sharkfin I bought form someone on the forums, cleaning the surface well, and jamming it on. The only tricky part is putting it on dead straight, because you're like reaching over the truck to mount it. I think it came out nice, and the reception is really good. I was surprised. I figure I might as well do a couple things while waiting on the CPE pump. It looks sooo much better than the stocker imo:

if i clean my air filter before i go to bed tonight and leave it indoors to dry over night ( perhaps with a fan blowing on it to aid it) should it be dry enough to drive to work in the morning? then embark on a 3-600km road trip after work
or should i park the car for the night and start it now to get an extra 3-4 hours of dry time

Sharkfin looks nice. Mine is slightly off but you can only tell if you look really close.

Alright so I flashed the map today with the leaner AFR for the meth. OMG this car pulls like a freaking jet!! I couldnt believe it. If I could race the way my car has been setup I would smoke it. By my ass dyno this is the most power increase I have ever felt from any mod on this car. I just hope the meth doesnt decide to not spray..
