What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Definitely a larger gauge. I used to use 4 guage Monster Cable for my stereo crap back in the day! lol 0/1 gauge must be pretty huge.... I'm not sure where he ran it, but will that 0/1 gauge fit under the door sills? It must be like 1/2" thick!

it'll fit.

just when u use it. run it under the side with the least amount of wires. i have mine running down the passenger side.

speaking of door sills.
deep down, the ricer in me wants the lighted ones, the ones that light up the words "Mazdaspeed 6"... amber matched to the gauges.
Oooooo, or hyper white to match all my interior LED lights... Ooooo that'd be sick. keke

dont worry it'd stop there; i'd commit seppuku before i do underglow outside OR inside the car. hah!!!

I hate that bug. I'm getting used to it though, lol. I also heard back from PTP, and they finally got my pump yesterday. I'm glad I got tracking/delivery confirmation on it though, as they never scanned it when it was delivered... thanks usps! I really hope to get the new hpfp back by Thursday (supposed to ship today), but with my luck, I'll be happy to see it by Sat. Damn car has been out of commission more or less since the fmic install like 6 weeks ago :/

anyone know if it'd cause me any trouble to use a K&N filter cleaning kit turns out no one localy has access to AEM products now

No prob with K&N. I used it on my injen. Only thing you need to make sure of is if your filter is dry or oiled. The oil is supplied (most filters are oiled) but if yours is dry then you don't need it. Make sure its dry before you put in on.

Alright guys. I redid my grouns in the rear. Grinded them down to bare metal and bolted them down tight. On the front gound I grinded that to metal as well and bolted it in. I wentot hook up the battery and there was a tiny spark on the negative when it first made contact. I saw my dashhawk didnt cut on. The car didnt have any power. I took a test light in the rear past the fuses. One side wouldnt light. So I took the fuses out and inspected them and the connections. They werent blown. So I swtiched them and both of the wires would now light. Everything in the car then worked. heres the kicker. I went to turn the car on and all that happens is a click. It wont even turn over. Ok so I am thinking the battery is just about dead. Got my dad to bring my old car to the house and see if we could jump it. No luck. Everything works fine in the car. It just wont turn over.

Makes me wonder if what Great MY said. Would running that negative cable to the engine and grounding it with the other wire make the car start. it really makes me think maybe the alenator wasnt charging the battery last night? Maybe I was just running what was left on the charge. Im glad I was able to make it home. cuz once I park it and cut it off it hasnt started since.

went to 2 audio store today none of them had any 4 gauge wire! wtf! I was rushing around and barely got to work on time. And now the stealth I am driving smells like raw gas from the engine bay. What kind of luck do I have this week.... I called my dad and asked him to check out this other audio store close to the house to see if they have any. Hopefully he can get some today so I can go home tonight and run this wire through the car.

I hope this works! I talked to the guys at the audio store about running that negative wire. they said the dotn see the need for it. I said it cant hurt to try. thats the way it was before.
