CAI causing fans to come on?

The only reason I mention the spark plugs is I almost had a set of Bosch that tried to kill my car. It caused the check engine light to come on! Stick with NGK, they great.

Little hint, I got a injen styled intake off ebay for $50 plus shipping.

Oh and do not be surprised that a aftermarket parts does not work right out of the box

-injen styled intake : needed rubber pieces to keep it from rubbing and a AEM bypass to keep my engine non-hydro locked with customs couplers without cutting intake

-sls front motor mount : needed the mounting bolts welded to the mount

-progressive sway bar : got new brackets machined that are thicker

-underdrive crank pulley : had to shave off a plastic bump

-rear strut bar : had to remove seat belt holders and drill holes in plastic interior pieces

The only the drilled/slotted rotors from R1, Axis Ultimate front brake pads, and goodridge stainless steel brake lines

Here is a pic of the intake.

Yeah, those are the only plugs I run, except in my '86 Chevy C10, it gets AC Delco. Most of these parts that you guys mention are things that I sell everyday, can't really buy them for anyone, but just to give you an idea of what I do and deal with.

Yeah, this intake, which was brand new, was missing worm clamps, the bracket to keep the intake from moving around and no instructions. But it was self explanitory once I got the factory stuff out and set the new intake parts out.

You having to modify all of those parts sounds just like every customer that I talk to, got to bend a bracket, make a bracket, missing a nut form the kit. But the difference is that you modified it yourself, most of my customers would have me re-order, even for the nut!

I thought about buying the extra tubing from Vibrant and make the intake a cold air kit and get the bypass valve as well. At that time though we were short on money and the factory intake broke.
