I'm trading in my Speed6 today and I have to admit I'm going to miss her. This has been a fun car to drive, especially in snowy conditions when 4-wheel drifting was the order of the day. This car drew alot of attention and complements wherever I went. Some of that attention however was from the Police as I tended to drive it too fast most of the time.
Well, after all the modifications, my wife has been bugging me to grow-up and get a more "adult car" (I'm 47). I do have to admit that although the exhaust sound from the CPE downpipe and catback sounds great in agressive driving, it can get a little tiresome after a while.
Today the Speed6 is being traded in for a 2006 Audi A6 4.2 as I don't think
I could drive anything but an all-wheel drive car anymore. The 4.2 V8 engine in the Audi has good power but it's a heavy car and no match for the Speed6 as far as quickness. However, the Audi offers way more luxury and is a pleasure to drive and that's what I'm looking for right now.
So, I just want to take this opportunity thank those who have contributed to this forum with usefull information that helped me with my mod decisions. I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy your car - I'm going to miss mine.
