Ok I have not seen this before on an MS3. I got in touch with the maker of this mesh (pretty heavy and nice quality) and I had him make me a piece of the mesh with the dimensions of our front end. Then I put some lining on it and installed it (with some on the fly cutting with a dremel).

I personally think it looks awesome. Its not a FMIC lol but next best?

how does the old honey comb grill part come out?

im taking mine off today and would like to know how because im painting it

I'll give you an "A" for effort and workmanship, but it just doesn't look right to me. However, it's your car and if you like it, that's all that matters.

The only thing better than having an FMIC, is pretending you have one.

Don't you ******* dare put that on! It does like like good quality meshing, but I'll cut your arms off.

LMAO! The front is still 100% stock and reversible. I didn't remove the honeycomb. I wouldn't dare damage the stock look. I dreaded posting this for fear of people owning it haha. I like it for now, but if I change my mind it would be about 5 minutes to remove it. Boy did it take longer than that to install it though.

I would like to see it on a Silver car....I think for some it stands out to much. But honestly it is refreshing! I dig it!

+1

i think it looks decent, especially since there arent many options for changing the looks of the front end, but i feel like it might look more at home on silver.

I have a silver speed3, I may try that out. What is on the border of it on the outside? It looks lik eyou put a foam surround on he outside.

I think it would look great on silver, but then again I could be wrong, i'd have to see it. I remember using the Home Depot rain gutter mesh back in the day to fill the holes on bodykits since the real mesh from a speed shop was always hella expensive.

I dont think it looks rice at all, i think it stands out a bit much on your car's color, and would look better on black or silver

I don't understand how some of you actually think that looks good. I'm actually a little pissed off. good job for making your ms3 look ghetto. I mean really, what's the point of doing that anyway? why don't you just throw some 30" wheels on there too, maybe it'll look better?

what the hell.

incase you didnt read 'zim' it is reversible which means he can remove it and it will still look stock.honeycomb grill is still there too. your the type of guy that doesnt try s*** you just buy it or does what someone else does chill out!!!

by the way it looks pretty good nice effort on a cheap diy mod!
