Hey,
I went to the body shop to get an estimate for a nasty scratch on my rear bumper (some lady hit my car and stayed parked next to it like nothing happened....the cops paid her a visit yesterday) and I took the oportunity to ask the estimator if I could fix the rust that had develped on my hood this winter (some paint bubbles.....which where hidding a crap load of rust on the other side). Well, apparently my hood is scrap....the front edge of the hood is formed by folding metal. Rust started from inside of this fold, therefore rust will come back over and over if you fix it.....so my piece of advise, keep a close look on the inside of the front edge of your hood, when you see bubbles on the outside, it's too late. I might touch it up, any thread on how to do it? I searched but I coudn't find anything....I will also start looking at some CF hoods....any recommendations?
