Tapping Power

I dont want to run a wire in from the battery because, i want everything to be clean.

But i was wondering if i could use those t-tap clamps, on the cig lighter power wire.

If i can could i tap it twice once, for under dash neons, and again for a Defi D-Link?

You can do it here. BUT since I think the smallest fuse you can get for that place is about 30 amps, you need to use a big wire at least #10 that will hold up if you have a short.

i think im going to tap the front cig lighter for the neons, then the one in the center arm rest for the D-Link. Would this work?

you should be fine, you can pull a good bit of power from them, is the line for you lights fused?
If your that worried just use the fuse box under the passenger side dash.

Or install an inline fuse for the desired wire size.

yea i would be taping the power for the lights, then inline fuse, to the switch.

Im not sure if the defi control box needs a fuse but i will install one anyway
