I'm trying to figure i need to replace my wastegate and i was wondering what do you guys use if you loose your e-clip for the wastegate because i hear alot of people loose it and incase i loose mine i want to have an extra

you can find the retainer clip for the wg actuator arm at any autopart store or hardware store such as homedepot in the hardware section.

putting it on may give you problems. i dunno how much different it is w/ the stock turbo, but w/ my 2860rs, i have to basically take off the whole damn thing just to put it on.

geez i'm hoping not to have to do that my boss will kick my ass if i try to do all that

you should be able to see the actuator arm from below. if you can reach where the retainer clip goes on by squeezing your hand around the dp you should be good.

thanks for the compliment. the FMIC was custom made using a Garrett core.

Ok so i replaced my wastegate and i found the easiest clip to stay on and put on i got it from Home depot its called Hitch pin clip 3/16"

I drove around for a couple of years without one. Not saying you have to but when I changed WGA mine broke and that SUM b**** was on there TIGHT!
The little ridge the clip goes on held it on there for 60,000 miles or so.
I racked up about 120,000 miles in 4 years. I mean it was damn tight. I had the ATP WGA though and it was tighter than the stock one. After taking the stock WGA off I could see what a piece of trash it was. But I did find lots of e-clips at Home Depot.
I took mine on and off twice left everything on the car and just used a long flathead screw driver.
My brother pushed the WGA rod down and then (while under the car) I popped it off the wastegate arm.
Did the same going back on but I then popped it back on the arm.
