I'm looking for pics of it. If you don't have it but have the standard version, post pics of it.

I don't have it, I'm looking to put a crapload of upgrades on my car in the next month or so including xede, a new intercooler either front or top but most likely top so i can pop it off when going to the dealer, exhaust and a short throw shifter.

My question to you is are you happy with the rather home made looking product?
I want my engine bay to look like a work of art not something i made in my garage with rough welding.
We are different. I want my car to go like stink and if it looks a little rough, oh well. I don't want it to look like crap, but function is more important to me than form. Powdercoating the IC will definitely reduce it's efficiency, but if the looks are more important, do it.

In my opinion, works of art are great to look at hanging in a gallery, not attempting to clip the apex at max velocity.

You try running a 14" bead of weld and make it perfectly smooth and even and then come back and tell me how pretty it'll look. I understand that they're a company, but these are all hand built and guaranteed to perform flawlessly.

word!!! running a 14" bead with no blow thru's, no splatter, and perfect puddles is INSANE!!! yes there are people that do it, but it takes a crazy amount of skill and years and years of practice. Most "perfect" welds these days are done via a machine, not hand made. +1 for handmade s***!

You've just made my day :)

I'm also in SoCal. You should come out the monday meet in Artesia. PM me for more details if you're interested.

Please excuse the thread jack :D

I have a question;

Theoretically, though it adds more power (ETS proven 20/20) won't an IC upgrade increase spool time, thus adding to turbo lag, because the air has a larger space to move through and fill before it can continue on it's way? It seems like our car would lose some of the lower end 'punch' in exchange for 20whp 500-1000 rpms higher in the band. I'm not an engineer, just using logic from a layman's standpoint, perhaps I'm way off...

yeah I have thought about that same scenario blumicar , whoever has it hows the throttle response with the larger ic?
