Hello fellow Speed3ers what the happs? I was giving my car a good look over, and came across two chips in the paint. After a stream of curse words, I regained my senses. I would like to know what is the best way to stop them from spreading into bigger spots or the paint chipping? I think touch up paint is the best way, but looks so ugly. Any one else have any ideas?

It happens man!

I have a few dozen little s**** all over the front end but unless you put an ugly ass bra or that clear 3m stuff which looks just as bad it cant be avoided.

I use a sharpie for mine to touch them up and it works perfect. You wont find the exact red but close enough that the bar metal wont stick out so much. I have the Black Mica and a good old black sharpie works the best. I tried touch up paint applied with a tooth pick but no matter what you do it looks like s***.

I dont seem them spreading or anything so no worries there. Just touch them up with a sharpie that is red and you will look hard to find that spot again.

don't use a freakin' sharpie dude. thats ghetto. there are products you can buy that blend the paint and make it flush with the surface. langka and dr. color chip are a couple. i have a silver car so i don't know if i'm going to use it for the chips that my car got from an egging, but dr. color chip or langka should work really well for you since its just a flat red color with no metallic.

Isnt that stuff just a soft lip stick type that you smear on to the paint?

I dont see how that will stay on that long or will do any thing more then be a cosmetic touch up.

Sharpie lasts weeks for me and works great but do as you please.

no, you use OEM touch up paint and a blending solution with the langka kit. dr. color chip makes their own paint along with their blending solution. they're a little different but seem to use essentially the same ideas. it lasts for years and it will match much better than a sharpie.
