Boost Gauge location?

Just wondering, those of you with boost gauges installed.....where did you put it?

Not a fan of using the A/C Vent, and also not fond of single gauge pods stuck on dash....just not my taste. Any other creative ideas? I hate not having a boost gauge. I see Autoexe has a 3 gauge pod but I feel $269 is a little steep for that.

In the corner, out of the way. Cable is now permanentely rerouted. I pulled the trim off and routed in the dash. Same location, but you see no cable any longer.

Really not a boost gauge, but a DashHawk (flash)

Speaking of OBD scanners - i use a Scangauge II with blendmount and it fits perfectly...

Thanks for the blinding statement of the obvious. No news flash, here :)

I was only showing a location that a boost gauge could go. And, yes, it is a DashHawk, but it works well enough. I use it as a boost monitor and digital speedo. Besides, how many people watch their analog boost gauge that closely to see where it actually peaked? The data logger is useful to see how certain items are really working. It comes in handy.

I also looked at the Scanguage, but the functions seemed more limited. It was half as much money, but I opted for the Dashhawk in the end. One nice plus is the color adjustment for the screen. You just adjust the RGB settings to match your dash color.

I also thought about dashhawk - but given the mount location the Dashhawk would not fit (pissed)
and the SGII also has 16 different backround colors available.
The dashhawk has nice 0-60 timing feature though. (cool)

Yep, I saw that, as well. I looked at both before deciding on the Dashhawk. It can do 16 million colors since you adjust each of three colors at any level. The performance measurements are a big plus. You can get it at the Protege Garage for $275 shipped.

Since I allready have ScanGaugeII installed.
I went for Gtech Pro RR for performance measuring
http://www.gtechpro.com/
managed to get one with blue backlight and under $300 with shipping
Got 0-100km within 7.9sec with one passanger on board.

Yes, I had one of those Gtech gizmos. Worked decent once it was calibrated, on a flat surface with NO bumps anywhere on the road. Uses a G meter to determine acceleration over time and estimates distance. It works pretty decent, but the Dashhawk will be more accurate since it measures true wheelspin and 60 mph off the speedo.

That is the best price I have seen on the "net".......for anyone considering waiting for a better deal. Might have to pick it up........
