MSP to SI Conversion

Well... I sold my MSP to a guy on the forum. His username is Bluewolfcry so if you see he needs some help please help him out. He is a good guy.

Onto what I bought. I just picked up a new Civic SI white on Saturday. I know I'm probably get (flame) a little bit but i put my time in with Mazda. I've been driving Mazda for 9 years. 3 different Proteges and I thought it was time to try something different. I wanted a car that was equivalent to power as the MSP and handling. I thought I would never own a civic but it is a fun car. (drive) I do have the HFP lip kit on order but here she is after the day she rolled over 500 miles and I took her virginity (hit vtech) and than I cuddled (cleaned her) afterwards. The power is totally different in this car. It's always there when you need it. The transmision and all the 6 gears are so smooth. So far I love everything about this car.

Not too much yet.. this car is pretty good stock. The exhaust note for a DD is good, the ride is firm but comfortable, and the stereo sounds pretty damn good. 350 watt system with a sub that hits pretty good. Not sure the size though. If anything i am going to swap out the headunit for a nav system and maybe intake, exhaust, and wheels.

The guy at the dealer had a hell of time finding a white one and he asked if I was sure I wanted a white one. I told him since he can't find one I want a white one even more. I have yet to see another white si on the road. Not as rare as the MSP but it will do.

Well they both are great.

SI though has a lot smoother throttle due to no turbo kicking in. However it does surge when vtech kicks in. The throttle on the SI is fbw and they have it set up so that it hangs and doesn't drop that quick so it stays in VTECH range. Definately needed to get used to it. The SI does feel more solid of a car. However it does look like just another civic running down the road. I received a lot more looks with the MSP.

It is fun to clean. I just cleaned it yesterday and everytime I thought I had my first scratch it would rub right off. The hardest part is getting the bugs off of the front but if you keep after it its no problem at all.

Yeah I have never liked black or white because you can always see when they are dirty. But they both look nice when they are clean. My next car will be white.

Hondata Reflash

You will suprise alot of 350Z's, Evo8's, and WRX's. Later on in the future add the RBC manifold and ITB's. You will dominate from a roll(lol2)

Those are pretty much the mods I wanna go with. But I am still quite happy with the stock performance so I'm in no hurry.

If I had another import and it wasn't a mazda it would def be a Honda...I've had 3 of them and all ran great...try some gold rims on her. That would look great!

if an intake, header, catback, and ecu reflash makes a civic surprise an evo8... then that car was ridiculously poorly designed from the factory.
