Rennworx makes the Dymag Carbon/Magnesiums at 13lbs and they are $2500 a pop. Could you imagine what an 8lb rim would cost.

I removed the passenger side two hook/loop today. The fitment with the MAM FMIC is so bad that the piping was rubbing against it and making annoying rattling sounds at 3500+ RPM. Now I just have to make sure I never get stuck...

On another note I did not get to install my CP Racing STB because it was snowing here until 3 PM and it's still freeezing outside. And here I thought leaving the mountains and coming back to the Beach for a weekend would help...

Big difference between 14 and 8 and I doubt rednecks cool ride is riding on anything less than 16's. But thats a pretty light wheel at even 14lbs. A 17 inch rim at 18 pounds is considered light for a regular forged rim.

The 17" CAST 5-zigen is 15.5lbs, and I'm fairly certain redneck's are forged

it's a nice lightweight wheel design.

it's a nice lightweight wheel design.

Forged normally reduces weight by approx. 20% and carbon fiber reduces it to about 35% from a cast design comparison.

Had the tires balanced and rotated. Found a nail in one of the tires, had that fixed and swapped out the rubber bushings in the AWR enlinks.

they can fix things stuck in your tire? I installed my mp3 rims today with kumho ecsta mx's and I noticed there were a few spots where there was some metal fragments in the rubber...

also, anybody know what psi I should inflate the tires to? they're 205/40/17

yeah...the previous owner said he had them on for less than 2000 miles and the tread is already kinda so so...I'll check them again at the end of summer lol

that's my bf's blue 2007 mazda3 next to mine. today we put in some old high beam bulbs I had layin around...they have a blueish bulb, so when you look at his headlights at certain angles it makes his headlights glow blue kinda! neat, eh?

Those look great....of course I already knew they would. I wonder how many P5's are rolling on the MP3 wheels....can't be too many.

Didn't even start my baby up today. Took the peevee to a birthday party and back.
