blacked out headlights

well, I found my old can of semi-gloss dupicolor paint with about 1/4 left in it this morning and I wanted to have something new at a meet I was going to saturday, so I whipped out the 10mm socket wrench and I got this far


I did run into a problem though... the amber parking lights that were there before.. I tried to take them apart but soon found out that they wern't sealed with simple glue that could be heated up and torn apart, I ended up destroying them when i got fustrated and basicly melted them when I put them in the oven @ 300degrees for 10min.. so does anyone know where I could find blackened lights or how to dis-assemble the parking lights? thanks.

yeah, and they don't do the lamps justice either. I posted a better picture of them @ the meet today, in this thread.

pretty sure we ended up with the same parking lights though
