Is EBAY air intake CRAP? (help!!)

you might be able to find some paint that could paint on vynl (sp)...i dont know how it would turn out though...i dont like the baby blue either, i think it looks cheap...plus the material between the two are totally different...i dunno, i like performance AND appearance, so the OBX intake was a nice start but first on my list to replace

when i said material between the two, i meant compare the piping material between the injen and obx...the piping on the injen is much better

I live in Vancouver where rains almost everyday in winter but misty rain. Does INJEN CAI work well in this freakin rainy weather?
and if there is no problem, can I buy only t he CAI extension pipe?
It saves alot of money, only $60. so that I can change only the pipe and use the same filter and heat shield.
I really appriciate to you guys for replying my silly questions : )

i dont know about the extension question, however here is a picture of where the filter actually goes (without the bumper on)...its tucked into the front of the bumper and surrounded on all six sides by walls...inside the red circle is where the filter actually is once installed, but once you put the bumper back on (or close up the fender wells depending on how you accomplish the install), it will be covered up...we have absolutely no drainage in lawton, ok and when it rains it gets deep as hell...we just had a rainstorm and i drove right through all the deep puddles with no problem...if you want to waste your money on the bypass valve, thats up to you but i dont think its necessary.

The bypass is not nessary. You really should be fine unless you submerge your filter in water, and by the way, the filter is very well protected. The only way you will hydrolock your engine is if you go out trying to find a flood.
