Not to be "negative" just honest.. but.. why? Carbon Fiber.... For such a nice "luxury" car... seems like a good way to bring it down... Removing the mazda symbol is nice... but would be sooo much better painted... On black its not bad... looks pretty good still..

On any other color.. would be terrible.

You can always paint carbon fiber, or you can leave it as is. Its all about personal taste. In my mind, carbon fiber and "luxury" are not mutually exclusive. You have a big boomin' system in your car and I could ask the same question of why put that on a "luxury" car, but I'm assuming you wanted it and you don't think that it "brings it down".

I think we all have different ideas of what we want in and on our cars...I'm never going to tell someone what they should do to their car. I have had carbon fiber parts on nearly every car I have owned...its just what I like.

I think carbon fiber looks just as good if not better on lighter colored cars. The pic of the AutoExe lip kit has a picture of the grill on a silver MS6 and I think it looks very good.

True...

Do you like that lip kit? I for one think it looks terrible... but like you said.. to each their own.

I did put a big boomin system your right... however you wouldn't know it unless i opened my trunk... I've kept everything stock looking.. as the Mazda 6 is a really nice car to begin with.... Anyway.. as long people are happy with what they get.. thats all that matters...

No, aside from the side skirts and grill, its a bit much. As is the fiber image front bumper. I wouldn't mind a more subtle cf lip, though. I wasn't trying to knock you for your system, just saying that folks have different tastes/priorities.

Yeah for sure... I no way am I tryin to get into a beef... I guess... to better explain.. a CF hood weighs a LOT less... = faster times... CF doors.... trunk.. whatever... helps with performance... Intakes.. exhaust... usually help with performance... You car looks awsome though so dont' get me wrong... removing that mazda symbol was a nice step.

I think for me anyway.. it comes down to... I hate little hondas (for example)... that put mufflers or muffler tips.. or glass packs on.. just to make noise.. and be annoying.. it offers no benefit.. performance gain.. or visual effect... just... annoying.

If you put a CF hood on.. i'd give you props.. it saves a lot of weight.. helps with performance... and possibly heat (not sure about that though)... But if you slap a combat bomb body kit on there.. with huge fangs and big ass rear scoop from Fast and the furious.. you have some VW commercials to watch!

CF hood is in the plans, but it most likely will be painted. I usually go for performance mods (already have the CP-E intake and HKS set-up, lightweight wheels/tires, and the boost gauge was one of the first things that I did ), and I'm waiting for the CP-E turbo-back to come out.

Thanks for everyone's comments - I appreciate the feedback :)

CP-E is working on a turbo-back... nice... I'll need to hear soundclips before i'd consider anything like that... I love how I can sit idle at a stop light.. and drive around town.. completely silent... yet when I stomp on it... with the intake.. and stock exhaust... it does sound pretty deep and nice as it is... So.. HUGE performance increase... and sound can't be too terrible.. to make it worth the money and sound...
