Digi-Cam in Car

I know a lot of you have varying set-ups for mounting your digi-cam in your car. Where did you mount it and how? Did you buy something or make it yourself? Please post info and pics of your setup. I'd love to take some vid, but steering, shifting, and operating the camera is a little difficult with only two hands

check out www.chasecam.com. that's where i got my mount and i mount it to the passenger seat headrest. pretty stable even on the tail of the dragon

I made mine. I just went to a junk yard found an old head rest. Took all the stuff off it (foam and all that) Then got the top of a tripod(where the camera screws on) and glued it to top of the old head rest. After some tape and putting some cloth on it...it was done. So to use it i just take out my complete head rest and put in the one i made. Works pretty good, to be FREE

I used a spare piece of wood. 1/2" x 1" x 14" I drilled 2 holes for the headrest posts and one for the piece that comes on top of a tri-pod. I'll try to get pictures of it.

Okay here are the pics. I have to admit the mount is very GHETTP but it was free and made in about 30 mins. The pictures are pretty self explanitory on how it works. hopefully lol

I highly recommend it! You will be amazed how strong the suction cups are. You can literally shake/rock your car back & forth with it.
