2017~2025: CX-5 In car communication error message

2022 CX5 Premium
Shortly after bringing my CPO 2022 CX-5 Premium home from the dealer, I started getting this message in the app just about every day. Never on the dash display, just in the app.

The error is: "In-vehicle communication network malfunction" with no other info. Anyone else get this and what was the fix?

It was updated right before I bought it last December. My wife has the same year and is not getting the error. I'll check her version against mine and see if they're the same.
 
it means the cloud server and the car are not communicating. Isually its the tcu fix.
Not the infotainment version.

You have to enter the infotainment "service menu" to see the tcu verisons.
Other options could be if the car is underground. Then it should clear on its own eventually.
 
Yes. Should be. Plus you say its CPO (assuming Mazda cpo) that adds additional time to the original warranty.
